Since their debut in 2016, BLACKPINK has established themselves as the world’s top girl group, making every song they release a hit.

In particular, they have continued to make significant progress, including becoming the first K-pop girl group to become a double million seller, ranking first on the US Billboard 200, becoming the first Asian artist to headline Coachella and Hyde Park, and conducting the largest world tour for a Korean female singer.

While it was previously known that the exclusive contract of BLACKPINK ended in August, their agency YG Entertainment kept replying that they were “negotiating,” raising many questions about their future.

After a long time, BLACKPINK, who finally officially renewed their contract at the end of 2023, plans to solidify their status once again, surpassing the ‘Seven Year Curse’.
